
Born on May 6, 1992, and raised in the Edgewood section of Cranston, Olivia Culpo is a proud Rhode Islander who has earned international recognition for her work in entertainment, music, fashion, and entrepreneurship. Her historic career began in 2012 when she swept the Miss Rhode Island, Miss USA, and Miss Universe pageants. She quickly became a fashion influencer, building a loyal following of over 7 million people across various social media platforms. She also made her mark as a Maxim Hot 100 and Sports Illustrated cover model, and expanded into television and film. Known for her poise, charm, and impeccable taste in fashion and food, Olivia shapes trends and inspires worldwide audiences.
Olivia has hosted numerous major broadcasts, including the 2025 Super Bowl Pre-Show, the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Runway Show, several consecutive Miss Universe Pageants, and an upcoming Netflix cooking competition. She has starred in “The Culpo Sisters” and has appeared on “Scrambled”, “Hell’s Kitchen with Gordon Ramsay”, “Beat Bobby Flay”, “The Kitchen”, “The Rachael Ray Show”, and as a recurring judge on “Project Runway.”
A versatile film actress, Olivia has appeared in the action series “Hi-Surf”; the psychological thriller “Clawfoot” opposite Francesca Eastwood and Milo Gibson; “Venus as a Boy”, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival; “The Swing of Things” with Luke Wilson and John Lovitz; “American Satan” with Malcolm McDowell; and “Reprisal” opposite Bruce Willis. She also starred in the series “Paradise City” and had roles in “The Other Woman” and the comedy “I Feel Pretty” with Amy Schumer.
Beyond entertainment, Olivia is a passionate advocate for charitable causes, including Best Buddies, AMFAR, and the Endometriosis Foundation (EndoFound), where she serves as the co-chair of the 2025 Blossom Ball Gala. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she launched “More Than a Mask,” a nonprofit that provided funding for over 3 million meals through Feeding America. She also raises awareness for endometriosis, a disease affecting the uterus, through educational live streams, podcast appearances, and sharing her personal journey with this disorder.
Olivia is a successful businesswoman and co-founder of family-owned Rhode Island restaurants: “Union & Main” (East Greenwich), “Back 40” (North Kingstown), and “Lake Taco” (Coventry). Born into a family of highly successful restaurateurs and musicians—her father, Peter Culpo, owns multiple restaurants in Rhode Island and Boston, and her mother, Susan Culpo, plays the viola with the Rhode Island Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops. Olivia is a classically trained cellist who performed in the Rhode Island Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, the Rhode Island Philharmonic Chamber Ensemble, The Bayview Orchestra, The Boston Accompanietta, and The Rhode Island All-State Orchestra. Her talent was a major factor in her pageant success. Her appreciation for design was showcased in an Architectural Digest home feature.
Olivia is a proud graduate of St. Mary Academy – Bay View. She also attended Boston University and The Brevard (N.C.) Music Center. In 2024, Olivia married Stanford University and San Francisco 49ers superstar and record-breaking running back Christian McCaffrey in an intimate Rhode Island ceremony at Watch Hill in Westerly that celebrated her Italian heritage and was covered exclusively by Vogue. In March 2025, the couple announced that they are expecting the arrival of their first child.
