Mr. Sherman A. Strickhouser was a graduate of Brown University. A radio announcer while attending college, he produced several award winning television documentaries, and hired the first anchorwoman to work in Rhode Island television. One of the most popular talk-show hosts, he created the markets first all-talk radio station, and was the 1992 Honorary Chairperson for the Heart Association’s “Walk for Heart.”
